Red-Juice Apple Varieties

In 2010, 10 red-juiced apple cultivars were planted at the Clarksville Research Station in Clarksville, MI. These cultivars were selected from over 100 red-fleshed cultivars that we identified and collected around the world, based on their potential for producing red apple juice under Michigan growing conditions. Of these 10 varieties, we recommend two, ‘Otterson’ and ‘Cranberry’, as having exceptional potential.
